Safe Termination Best Practices

A 15-minute eLearning course designed to provide best practices for safely terminating employment.

After completion of this course, learners will be able to:

• Properly prepare for the termination process
• Decide who the key stakeholders are in the process in order to collaborate
• Make appropriate plans with security or local law enforcement when necessary
• Maintain the dignity of the person whose employment is being terminated
• Close out the termination with all appropriate paperwork and/or company property
