CPPS was founded not just as a response to 9/11, but as a personal mission to bring life-saving knowledge to everyday people. Our late CEO and Founder, Randy Spivey, launched CPPS in 2002 with a simple but powerful goal: to make the elite safety skills used in the Department of Defense accessible to organizations and individuals everywhere. He saw firsthand how proper preparation could mean the difference between survival and tragedy—and he believed every person deserved that same advantage.
Randy’s vision wasn’t just about systems or policies. It was about people—empowering individuals with practical tools and clear guidance to take ownership of their own safety and security. That personal focus still defines CPPS today.
